Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – KS2
Location: Dorchester
Contract: Full-time – 5 days per week
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Dorchester to recruit an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within Key Stage 2 on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely, collaborative team and make a real impact on pupil progress across KS2.
The Role
- Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2
- Leading small group interventions
- Delivering pre-planned lessons where required
- Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
- Working closely with class teachers and senior leaders
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday
The Ideal Candidate
- HLTA status or significant experience at HLTA level
- Confident supporting or covering within KS2
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Proactive, organised and enthusiastic
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred — or willing to apply through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
