Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the DT6 area of Bridport to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support within Key Stage 1.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely, supportive team in a nurturing school environment where staff wellbeing and pupil development are a priority.

The Role

• Supporting teaching and learning within KS1
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy
• Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children, ideally within KS1
• Patient, proactive and enthusiastic
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Happy to commute to the Bridport (DT6) area
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
