Reception Teacher – High Wycombe
Full-Time | January Start
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in High Wycombe who are seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their team from January.
This is a full-time position (5 days per week) with full planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Reception class, delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
The Role:

Full-time Reception teaching role (Monday–Friday)

Full planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities

Deliver high-quality EYFS provision, including phonics and early literacy
-
Create a nurturing, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment
-
Track and assess pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
-
Work collaboratively with EYFS colleagues and support staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Have experience teaching in Reception / EYFS
-
Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
-
Be confident delivering phonics and early reading
-
Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
-
Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
