Job Title: Teaching Assistants – Wool, Dorset
Location: Wool and surrounding areas
Start Date: Immediate (ad-hoc supply), longer-term roles from the New Year
Contract Type: Flexible supply with potential long-term placements
Salary: £85–£95 per day (dependent on experience and role)

Overview
Teaching Personnel is recruiting adaptable and reliable Teaching Assistants to support schools in Wool and the surrounding area. Current demand is primarily for ad-hoc daily supply, with multiple schools expected to require longer-term support from the New Year.

Role Responsibilities
• Support pupils in class, small groups, or on a 1:1 basis
• Assist the teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management
• Encourage positive learning and engagement
• Prepare resources and help maintain an organised classroom
• Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold school policies

Requirements
• Experience working with children or young people (school-based preferred)
• Strong communication and a supportive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Flexibility and reliability for short-notice supply work
• Ability to quickly adapt to different school environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
