Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Small Primary School in the Ryedale area who will be looking to appoint someone soon to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with additional needs. The Teaching assistant will be at the school to help the pupil to engage in lessons, feel comfortable and relaxed in the class environment and offer reassurrance, support and guidance to manage behavioural issues effectively.
The ideal Teaching assistant will have expoerience in wokoring with children wih SEN on a 1-1 or small group basis and will ideally have experience of this type of work in Primary Schools. Knowledge of the primary curriculum would be an advantage, though not essential as support will be given from the class teacher.
The working hours will be Monday to Friday in line with school opening hours (8.30-3.30), though occasional attendance for ater school meetings or help with other non teaching duties may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
