Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Part-Time

Location: West Drayton, West London

Pay: £100-£120 (Depending on experince)

Role Overview: As a part-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you'll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, Covering multiple classes through the day as well as PPA cover, working under the guidance of classroom teachers to deliver high-quality education to our students. Your expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication will contribute to creating a positive and enriching educational experience for all.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver planned learning activities under the guidance of classroom teachers, supporting students' academic progress across various subjects and year groups.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with additional educational needs, ensuring their individual learning needs are met effectively.
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons, utilizing your expertise to enhance learning experiences and engage students.
  • Support the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the overall evaluation of learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working in an educational setting, ideally as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or with experience in a similar role.
  • Qualified to at least Level 4 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (e.g., HLTA qualification).
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies to support student learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning in a dynamic school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
