Are you a passionate educator?
Have you previous experience of working in education?
Are you looking to kick start a career in the educational sector?
Do you have relevant qualifications to support your experience?
If yes to any of the above then we want to hear from you!
Here at Teaching Personnel we are looking to recruit a number of teaching assistants to work on a day to day/part time or full time basis. We are currently working with a large number of schools and academy trusts across the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Weston-Super-Mare area.
We need teaching assistants that have experience in schools, sporting facilities, the care sector, social services or other facilities that involve working closely with children and young people.
The desired candidate will have relevant experiences and qualifications to support their application. The ideal candidate will have GCSE's A-C or equivalent. Having additional qualifications such as: Team teach, MAPA, behaviour support, BTEC, sporting qualifications or any others relevant to working with children will strengthen your application.
These roles may require you to go out on different activities with the children to engage them with different curriculum based learning set out for their individual needs. This requires the candidates to be able to drive with access to their own vehicle.
A DBS is needed in child workforce only. As part of our vetting requirements your DBS needs to be on the Update Service. If you do not have either of these then do not hesitate to contact us as we can help you to go through the application process. However if you do have a DBS in child work force on the update service then your documents can be cleared faster.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
