One of a larger and rapidly improving secondary academies in central Reading is looking to bolster their Maths department from September for a full time Maths teaching role.
The school is situated within really easy reach of Reading train station, the bus station and can be accessed via road from the surrounding Reading areas as well as the fringes of Surrey and Staines.
This academy school has been recently Ofsted inspected in 2017, with a promising forecast for this academic year. The School improved to a "good" Ofsted standard and was praised and awarded "good" for it's leadership's clear direction and goals. The school have worked hard for this result and staff are proving to be going form strength to strength, in particular the leaders of Maths, English and Science based on their last GCSE results.
It's a positive and pivotal time to be joining the large and organised Maths department, which are helping to improve the school's profile more quickly and effectively.
As the new member of this forward thinking Maths department, you will;
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and mutual respect within your classroom
- Implement clear and concise objectives for KS3-4 Maths lessons
- Partake in extra training and CPD courses routinely
- have full-time availability from September 2019 for a permanent post
