Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a partner School between the Garstang and Lancaster area. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD, Conduct Disorder and Challenging Behaviours. The School is based on the outskirts of Garstang and School hours are roughly 8.35am - 2.55pm Monday - Friday.

The School are looking for a number of candidates on both a short and long term basis. Some of the roles are likely to start on an ad-hoc basis and become long term or permanent if the candidate is getting on well in School. The roles are mainly support worker roles and candidates must be willing to work with pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The candidate suited to this role must have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviours and special educational needs. Candidates with their Team Teach qualification will be favoured and candidates must be hard working, flexible and empathetic towards the needs of the pupils.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 65 per day

- Long term position available
