About Teaching Personnel:

We are a reputable education agency working with the majority of Secondary Schools in Manchester, specialising in providing qualified and experienced supply teachers to secondary schools in the surrounding areas. Our mission is to support schools in maintaining continuity of education by delivering high-quality teaching cover when needed.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Supply Teachers to join our team. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that teaching and learning continue seamlessly in secondary schools across Moss Side, Levenshulme, Whalley Range, and Hulme. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings, covering a range of subjects and year groups.

Salary: £120 to £150 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
  • Following lesson plans and schemes of work provided by the school.
  • Managing classroom behaviour to create a positive and conducive learning environment.
  • Providing constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and year groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
