Maths Teacher

Location: West Midlands, Warwickshire, Leamington Spa
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £100 - £200 Per day
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students
- Provide individualised support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics department
- Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
Required Qualifications:
- Maths Degree
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge and maths ability
- PGCE in Maths
Experience:
Previous experience teaching maths in a school setting or in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong behaviour management and positive classroom presence
- Ability to inspire and engage pupils to achieve highly within maths
- Organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and ability to integrate well in a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in education or maths
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment, interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Regular working hours with occasional extra-curricular activities may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
