ARE YOU AN ENTHUSIASTIC INDIVIDUAL, PASSIONATE ABOUT MATHS AND DELIVERING EXCELLENT LESSONS TO A RANGE OF SECONDARY SCHOOL PUPILS?

Location: West Midlands, Warwickshire, Leamington Spa

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £100 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students
  • Provide individualised support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics department
  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly

Required Qualifications:

  • Maths Degree
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge and maths ability
  • PGCE in Maths

Experience:

Previous experience teaching maths in a school setting or in a similar role is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong behaviour management and positive classroom presence
  • Ability to inspire and engage pupils to achieve highly within maths
  • Organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and ability to integrate well in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in education or maths
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Regular working hours with occasional extra-curricular activities may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
