Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with an education provider in Corby to recruit a committed and caring Student Support Officer for a full-time position, starting as soon as possible.

The Role

As a Student Support Officer, you will provide essential pastoral and academic support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about student wellbeing and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students

• Support student attendance, behaviour, and engagement

• Assist students with emotional wellbeing and personal development

• Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams

• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records

• Support safeguarding procedures in line with school policies

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children or young people (school, college, or support setting preferred)

• A calm, empathetic, and supportive approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

• Knowledge of safeguarding and student support strategies is desirable
