Science Teacher
Location - Northampton and surrounding areas.
Contract - Full time
Start date - immediate start
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science teacher to join teaching personnel to work in thriving secondary schools in the Northampton area, This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring young people and delivering high quality science education.
The role
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 including KS5 if applicable
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote curiosity and critical thinking.
- Monitor, and report on student progress effectively
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment, particularly in laboratory settings
- Support the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and teamwork.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who:
-Holds Qualified Teacher status
- Has s strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science
- Is passionate about teaching and learning.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Works well collaboratively and shows a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
