Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary Alternative Provision in the Radcliffe area of Bury. We are looking for sports coaches with experience of running school sports clubs as well as experienced Behaviour Mentors and Learning Support Assistants. This is a full time role (Monday to Friday, 8.30-3.30) starting in March 2019.

The preferred candidate will ideally be looking to gain experience before commencing on a PGCE with the aim of starting a career as a Physical Education Teacher. Your role will be combined to work as a behaviour mentor and academic tutor, with the opportunity to run after school and lunch sports clubs. You will have some recent experience working within a school setting and be able to work with children with challenging behaviour.

Ideal qualifications include:

* Degree in Physical Education or Sports Science

* Level 3 Diploma in Sports Development

* FA Level 2 in Coaching Football

* BTEC Nationals in Sport

* Equivalent Physical Education/ Sport Certificate
