Special Educational Needs Care Assistant
SEN Senior Support Assistant needed in Basingstoke, North Hampshire with immediate start. Full time role operating between Monday to Friday, operating between 8.30am and 3.30pm.

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an experienced SSA to work with a specialist SEN provision catering for pupils across both primary and secondary age levels with additional needs. The role will involve successful application supporting boys and girls with complex needs, including:
- Autism (ASD)
- Global Development Delay
- Asperger's
- Cerebral palsy
- Non-verbal
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
The provision caters for pupils with mild to severe complex learning difficulties; pupils are split between classes depending on the severity of needs. which are split between varied classes. The provision is currently seeking 1 SSA, to start initially in a temporary role to go permanent dependent on a probation period.
The primary function of this post is to work collaboratively with the team, supporting students in developing their confidence and self-esteem in order to increase school participation and generally cultivate greater aspirations to achieve. Confidently relaying a calm and nurturing dementia is vital to supporting the needs of these pupils.
Individuals which are traditionally successful to this type of role will be confident and compassionate; and will have experience working with aspects of special educational needs. In addition, those who have a particular interest in:

The role can offer you:
- Flexible working hours during term time
- Fantastic pay rates £275.00 - £320.00 per week (£9.00 - £11.00 per hour)
- Weekly pay
