Are you seeking a permanent Head of Maths position from September?
The PWR team are working with one of London’s most established Multi Academy Trusts (MAT) to help them to secure permanent teaching staff from September 2024. One of their schools in the Havering area are seeking a permanent Head of Maths on a full time basis. Please see further information below.

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £36,014-£52,679 (MPS/UPS Outer London) + TLR + £1,500 Trust Allowance + Performance and Loyalty Bonus + Trust Wellbeing Cash Plan + Pension Scheme (TPS) + Additional Trust Benefits
The school is located in the London Borough of Havering and is easily accessible for drivers by using the A13 and A1306 roads. There are also a number of public transport methods available, such as an overground and many bus routes.
Requirements:
Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, and, ideally, management training
Demonstrate successful teaching of GCSE at good or better level
Have experience of initiation and effective management of change
Show evidence of raising achievement in present post and showing good value added for groups
Have knowledge of current curriculum developments in subject and their implications
Have good knowledge and understanding of current educational thinking
Show good understanding of how children learn and how to raise standards of achievement
Have good communication skills in speech and writing
Display excellent organisational skills
Are able to build and sustain professional standards and relationships with students
Are able to contribute towards creating a safe and protective environment
