I'm currently recruiting Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants for a number of specialist SEND and SEMH schools across East Sussex.

These aren't just classroom support roles. They're opportunities to become a key part of a young person's journey, helping them overcome barriers to learning and build the confidence to succeed.

Your Role

Depending on the school, you could be:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Delivering small group interventions
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and behaviour
• Supporting learning within the classroom
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Working alongside teachers, therapists and pastoral teams

Experience within SEND is welcomed, but many schools are equally interested in people with backgrounds in care, youth work, coaching, mentoring or mainstream education.

• Teaching Assistant / LSA roles paid at £92.60 per day
• Teaching roles paid to scale
• Child-only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required

We'll also need references covering a total of 24 months of employment history (where possible), alongside a full employment and education history as part of our safeguarding checks.
