One of the biggest misconceptions about SEND education is that every school is the same.
They're not.
Some settings support pupils with autism and communication needs. Others specialise in SEMH, behaviour or complex learning needs. Some are highly structured environments, whilst others take a more therapeutic approach.
That's why I believe finding the right school is just as important as finding the right role.
I'm a Recruitment Consultant with a background in SEND education, and I work closely with a range of specialist schools across East Sussex, helping passionate educators find settings where they can genuinely thrive.

Experience is beneficial, but it isn't everything. Many successful educators come from mainstream education, care, coaching, youth work and mentoring backgrounds.

Practical Information

- Immediate and September starts available
- Teaching roles paid to scale
- Teaching Assistant / LSA roles paid at £92.60 per day
- Child-only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required
If you don't currently hold one, you'll need to apply through us. I'll support you throughout the process.
As part of safeguarding, we'll also require references covering a total of 24 months of employment history (where possible), alongside a full employment and education history.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
