SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity in Enfield
SEN school in Enfield are looking to hire a teaching assistant experienced in working with autism pupils. The school have purpose built facilities to which they look to use to benefit in helping raising attainment.
The school works closely with parents to help them have a positive impact on their child's education and aim to help them with raising attainment.
As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with pupils with a range of complex needs and pupils that have autism, learning difficulties and behaviour difficulties.
Job attributes:
- Experience working in an SEN school setting, youth experience will also be considered
- Flexible availability
- Helping teachers with managing classroom disruptions
- Working 1:1 with pupils and providing support as well as encouragement towards their learning
- Experience working with pupils dealing with SEMH would be beneficial for this role
