Are you a Learning Support Assistant looking for a new and exciting role supporting children with Special Educational needs?
Teaching Personnel are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join our partnership school in Rushden, Northamptonshire.
If you are passionate about teaching and learning and want to make a difference to the lives of children with SEN, this is the role for you!
In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Motivating pupils to reach their full potential
- Encouraging communication skills
- Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons, activities, and outings.
- Supervising pupils in the playground
The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Experience working with SEN children in an education or care setting.
- A calm and positive manner.
- A strong desire to support and nurture children’s learning.
- Bundles of enthusiasm

As part of safer recruitment guidelines all applicants would be subject to standard vetting checks including the obtainment of:
- two references from the most relevant/previous employers- covering the last 24 months.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service- you can apply for this through Teaching Personnel
- Applicants who have lived outside of the UK for 6 months or more in the last 5 years will be required to present an overseas criminal check (Police check)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
