Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for dedicated individuals to support students within Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings. We offer a supportive workplace built on trust, focusing on the professional development of our staff and the progress of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.

  • Help create a safe and positive learning environment.

  • Maintain clear communication with the teaching team regarding student progress.

  • Follow all safeguarding protocols, ensuring that any concerns are reported to the DSL or Headteacher immediately.

  • Build supportive relationships with students while maintaining professional boundaries.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience is not necessary as we value the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • A background or interest in Psychology is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.

  • A reliable and professional approach to work.

  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.

Location and Pay:

  • Locations: Kettering, Corby, Northampton, and Daventry.

  •  Full-Time, Term-Time
  • Pay Rate: from £90 per day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
