Job description

A Head Teacher of a Burnley SEN School are looking for a Teacher to work with KS3 pupils with a range of special educational needs. The School is smaller than average and currently has approximately 100 pupils on role, which generally means class sizes are under 8 pupils per class.

You will be expected to deliver a range of lessons to pupils and the pupils in School have a range of additional learning needs including; PMLD, Autism, Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities and ADHD.

To be considered for this role you must be available full time from after the May half term ideally, although candidates who can only start in September will still be considered.

*Essential Qualifications for this role will include*

Experience teaching pupils with PMLD and a range of SEND
Working knowledge of assessment procedures and ability to analyse and utilise progress data to support progress and raise achievement.
Experience of teaching pupils with SEND
Qualified Teacher Status
