Job description

Teaching Personnel work alongside several multi academy trusts in Cornwall and are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teachers to support for short and long term absences.

As a supply teacher you will need to be reliable, confident and adaptable in order to support children in their learning experience. You’ll ned to have strong behaviour management skills and quickly establish a positive learning environment. You’ll need to support direct staff members and effectively communicate the progress of individual students and the whole class.

What you’ll need:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Experience in teaching the primary curriculum.
  • A child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • At least two references from the last 24 months.
  • Be able to provide 10 years’ worth of career/ education experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
