We are currently recruiting for an ‘outstanding’ SEN School in Pinner who are looking for SEN Teachers to teach a mixed ability SEN primary school class. This school provides for children who have severe learning difficulties. Over half of all pupils within the school have an autistic spectrum condition and almost all pupils have language and communication difficulties.
SEN school in Pinner:
• Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted – July 2014
• Main School hours are: Monday (8:30 am – 4:00pm), Tuesday - Thursday (8:30-4:15pm) and Friday (8:30-3:45pm)
• Primary SEN school
• Mixed ability classes with pupils with autism, physical disabilities and severe learning difficulties
• Closest Transport Links – Eastcote (Piccadilly/Metropolitan), West Ruislip (Central), Northwood Hills and Ruislip Manor
Ideal Candidates:
• MUST be able to work from 8:30-4pm Mondays to Fridays (finishing hours dependant on work load)
• Must have QTS status or NQT status
• MUST have experience supporting pupils/people with special needs in a Special Need School
• MUST have experience supporting with personal care and moving and handling
• Experience teaching according to P Scales is highly beneficial
• Experience using PECS, TEACCH (visual aids), Makaton and sensory resources is highly beneficial
You must have a Child Workforce only DBS on the update service or be in process of getting a DBS to be considered.
