Teaching Personnel are looking for a DT Teacher!

An amazing Secondary school in Northampton is seeking to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated DT Teacher with a real zest for teaching and learning. You would join a fast-paced and energetic team, who are generous with their time and enjoy sharing resources and expertise. We are looking for an innovative and committed classroom practitioner who can teach outstanding lessons.

You will have the skills and abilities to engage and enthuse different types of learners and to work productively as part of a team. Our students are looking for a teacher with passion for their subject, drive and creativity.

The DT department has an broad and engaging curriculum which both supports and challenges students throughout. The school is in the heart of NN4 and has a huge car park, ensuring you always have room to park. You are close to the town centre as well, making public transport really easy.  The role involves planning, marking and teaching key stage 3 and 4.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative DT lessons.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students' artistic expression.

• Teach across Key Stages, ensuring lessons are tailored to the needs of diverse learners.

• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to inspire and engage students.

• Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' progress.

• Collaborate with the department and contribute to extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
