Behaviour Learning Mentor requied in Shaw Oldham Primary School.

  • Full time position from March 2017
  • Initially for two terms, longer prospects for the appointed Behaviour Support Assistant
  • Experience supporting pupils on a small group intervention basis.

Do you have a strong background in supporting pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school? Are you experienced in dealing with challenging behaviour and motivating students who are disengaged from learning?

Our partner school in Shaw, Oldham are currently seeking to appoint a skilled Behaviour Support Mentor to work with a small group of children who are disengaged from education and finding it difficult to access the national curriculum. If you have previously worked with students in a PRU setting, this role would be perfect for you.

• Full time position from March 2017

• Initially for two terms, longer prospects for the appointed Behaviour Support Assistant

• Experience supporting pupils on a small group intervention basis.

• Located in Shaw Oldham, accessible via public transportation links

• Up to £55 per day, depending upon previous experiences

The average size primary school is located near to the M62 and is situated next to the Bus station. They have a decided behaviour support team and the successful assistant will be fully supported by the school SENCO.
