Are you an experienced Science Teacher? Do you hold qualified teacher status for the United Kingdom? Do you have experience teaching Science in UK schools?

Teaching Personnel are recruitng experienced Science Teachers to work on a Short Term/ Long Term Supply basis

Teaching Personnel work closely with numerous schools across the North East to source talented and dynamic teachers to join Science departments in September 2020. The schools for this particular advertisement are located south of Durham. We are looking for Teachers that can adapt quickly to new classroom environments, and  work on a supply basis. Short term contracts can often lead to longer-term work for candidates that have impressed during placements. Previous experience within this educational sector would be preffered but not essential as well as the ability to mould teaching skills and activities to suit the learning stage of the pupils.

Suitable candidates will have:

  • At least a years experience teaching Physics/Chemistry/Life Science in the UK
  • A Science Teaching qualification and QTS for the UK
  • A strong ability to plan fun and engaging lessons for students
  • Excellent organisational skills and knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Science curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
