1:1 Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are seeking a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support children aged 5–11 with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working 8.45am to 4.45pm, Monday to Friday. You will be working in an exceptional specialist setting set within beautiful, peaceful grounds. Key Responsibilities

Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day

Assist with learning activities, personal care and sensory programmes
-
Support communication using a range of methods and tools
-
Work closely with teachers, therapists and care staff
Requirements
-
Minimum 6 months childcare experience, especially supporting children with SEN needs
-
Experience with PMLD or SLD is highly desirable
-
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school’s location

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
