School in the Westminster area seeking a science teacher with a biology specialism

Are you a fully qualified science teacher looking for a new role? Are you bored of teaching in an environment with poor student behaviour? Do you want to motivate your students to achieve outstanding exam results in a school achieving high Ofsted ratings?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school that has a "Good" Ofsted rating, fantastic behaviour and excellent exam results.

The Role

The opportunity is ideally for a fully qualified science teacher to teach at Key Stage 3 and 4 (up to Key Stage 5/A-Level is not essential but would be a bonus!), ideally with a biology specialism. You will also have a passion for the subject and the determination to educate your students to a level where they will achieve the high exam results their school has a reputation for.

Requirements

  • Possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one. (£44)
  • Ideally hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE).
  • Have a degree in science or similar subject.
  • Experience teaching science at KS3, KS4 (KS5 is desirable). Including experience supervising a class undergoing a practical task.
  • A passion for science and determination to motivate students to achieve their full potential.
