SEN Team Leader (Residential) – PR3 Area


Salary: £33,589 per annum
Hours: 42 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Team Leader to join a residential setting supporting young people with special educational needs and complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, providing guidance, stability, and leadership within a therapeutic residential environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of residential support workers.

  • Ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding are maintained.

  • Support young people with SEN and complex needs to achieve positive outcomes.

  • Work collaboratively with education, therapy, and senior management teams.

  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and staff development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN, autism, or complex needs.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a residential care setting.

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.

  • Flexibility to work a rota including weekends and sleep-ins (as required).

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) desirable – support to complete can be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
