This secondary school is a happy place where expectations are high, individuals are valued and a wide range of educational opportunities is available to all.
Students continue to have an Individual Education Plan (I.E.P.) which sets out the priorities and targets for each term. Parents and pupils are encouraged to contribute towards identifying and prioritising targets. Some students require support from our School Nurse and therapists who form part of the school’s team and who liaise with home to ensure continuity of provision. These therapists (Occupational, Speech and Language, Physio and music therapists) work collaboratively with the staff and their recommendations are incorporated into the student’s programme. Therapy for some pupils is a priority within the I.E.P.
This current post involves a position of trust when working with children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
The successful candidate must be prepared to join a supportive and hardworking team.
