Are you an ambitious and creative Teaching Assistant or Support Worker with experience of working with young people?

This is an excellent opportunity for you to pursue a career within education! The role would include:
- Pastoral support for a cohort of children with various SEN
- Communicating with SLT, outside agencies including family
- Supporting children outside of their academics in pastoral matters
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS –
- Previous experience in a care or education setting
- Previous experience with SEN such as Autism
- Previous experience with SEMH needs such as anxiety, attachment issues and challenging behaviour
- Knowledge, qualifications or training within pastoral care or counselling is desirable
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)
- Team Teach training would be highly desirable for this role as you may be working with some challenging behaviours
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Have an Enhanced Child DBS certificate registered onto the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
