Computing Teacher – Secondary School (S8 Area)
Location: Sheffield (S8)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time considered
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Agency: Teaching Personnel
Salary: £30,000 – £46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS, depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computing Teacher to join a successful secondary school located in the S8 area of Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative educator with a passion for digital literacy, coding, and modern technology to inspire the next generation of learners.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and progressive Computing/ICT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements

  • Inspire students to develop strong digital skills and pursue further study in Computing

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification

  • Strong subject knowledge in Computing, ICT, and digital technologies

  • Experience teaching KS3–KS4 (NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply)

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A commitment to raising attainment and building positive relationships

  • A valid enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
