Teaching Personnel is seeking a fully qualified and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to work at one of our partner secondary schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a supportive department and inspire students in a forward-thinking school.

About the Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential Key Stage 5 teaching.

• Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum.

• Teach programming, algorithms, data representation, cyber security, and computer systems.

• Monitor progress and provide clear feedback to support attainment.

• Create a positive learning environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

• Contribute to departmental development and enrichment opportunities.

• Fulfil safeguarding and wider professional responsibilities.

About You
We are looking for a Computer Science Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Or has PGCE or is an ECT. 

• Has experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.

• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for technology.

• Can manage behaviour effectively and engage learners of all abilities.

• Is organised, proactive, and committed to professional development.

• Holds, or is willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS check.
