Early Years Teaching Assistant required in Heysham LA3

-          Based in Heysham LA3 or willing to commute

-          January 2026 start

-          Full time position

-          Competitive pay – £13.75 - £14.50ph

-          Temporary position with chance to go on a school-based contract

-          Varied skills, qualifications and experience will be considered for this role

We are currently working with a local Primary School, who are looking for a full time Early Years TA in the Heysham LA3 area. This role will be supporting the teachers in nursery and reception, helping them with delivering all areas of the EYFS curriculum, supporting with phonics workshops and enhancing learning experienced for the children.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• A passion for supporting children.
• Be able to work alongside the class teacher and proactively support the children.
• Experience working in education or healthcare would be beneficial.
• Previous experience in a school would be desirable.
