Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside one of our partner schools to recruit for a teacher of RE to join them from September or October in the new academic year.
The school have an excellent reputation locally and are graded Good by Ofsted. The ambitious senior team at the school are hopeful that in the coming years they will be able to push this on to outstanding. The Humanities department within the school are close-knit and work together regularly to pool resources utilising the resource room available to them alongside the department staff room.
As a larger than average sized school with mixed behaviour you will need to be versatile and flexible in your teaching approach to ensure you are able to differentiate for all students within your classes. You will have your own tutor group on the days you are within the school supporting them within PSHE and ensuring that they are contributing to the wider school and community. You will be responsible for teaching classes both KS3 and KS4 within RE and will be responsible for progress and learning within these classes.
The school has upcoming availability for movement to middle and senior leadership for the correct teacher and they are happy to discuss this ongoing once you have joined the team.
This position is for a 0.6 or 0.8 position and they are ideally looking for a teacher with recent experience over the previous academic year.
This position is suitable for NQTs as well as teachers with more experience and all potential applicants should feel encouraged to apply. CPD and ongoing training will be provided to all applicants to enable the highest level of teaching to be conducted.
