Are you a Mathematics teacher looking to secure a long term position within a secondary school in Rochdale?

If so, our client school are looking to secure a qualified Mathematics teacher to cover a maternity absence from May half term onwards, with the successful teacher staying until Easter 2018.

- Earn in line with MPS/UPS for duration of position at school

- Work in consistently improving secondary in Rochdale

- Benefit from experienced Head of Maths with track record of supporting newly qualified teachers

- Start just after May half term on full time basis (6th June expected start date)

Our client is a small, modern secondary which is currently heavily oversubscribed due to excellent progress made in recent years, which has drastically improved overall attainment and progress scores, along with an increase in grading from Ofsted. The shift in culture at the school can be attributed to the Headteacher’s school wide plans which have improved standards of teaching and learning, which has encouraged pupil participation in education. The school is a short journey from the M62 motorway, making the school highly accessible from surrounding LEAs such as Bury, Manchester, Oldham and Yorkshire. The incoming Maths teacher will join a well established Maths department who currently lead the school in progress and results.

The ideal Maths teacher will ideally be looking to commit to a longer term placement in a secondary school, and as a partner school of Teaching Personnel, there may be an opportunity to secure a fixed contract in the future. The school have no preference for levels of experience, and are willing to support the induction of newly qualified Maths teachers.
