Maths Teacher
Job description
Join the Maths department of a large and supportive school in Salford.
- Full time Maths Teacher
- Start Date September 2025
- Paid in line to teaching scale M1 – UPS1
You will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and GCSE and will be expected to take on a full timetable. The successful candidate will also be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities alongside delivering lessons to meet the needs of learners at varying levels of learning ability. It will also be important to monitor and assess pupils’ progress and be able to report this back to the Maths department should it require further discussion.
Our client school is in Salford. For candidates who do not drive, the school is also easily accessible via public transport.
To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have:
- QTS
- Experience teaching Maths to GCSE level
Both experienced and newly qualified Maths teachers are urged to apply for this position as all relevant induction and support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
