Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Whalley Range – September 2025 Start – Paid to Scale

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September? Do you want to work in a supportive secondary school where your subject knowledge and teaching can truly inspire?

A well-regarded secondary school in Whalley Range is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time teaching role, suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs looking to complete their induction in a welcoming environment.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Plan, assess and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners

  • Raise attainment and support students to develop confidence in numeracy and problem-solving

  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing Maths department

  • Participate in whole-school initiatives, CPD and extracurricular activities where appropriate

Key Details:

  • Location: Whalley Range, South Manchester

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract: Full-time, permanent or long-term

  • Pay: In line with the Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS)

Ideal Candidate:

Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK

  • Experience teaching Maths to GCSE level

  • A strong classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge

  • Committed to supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their potential
