Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School in Bury
Start Date: September 2025 | Contract: Full-Time | Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

A secondary school in Bury is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of varying abilities, and contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to begin or develop their careers in a supportive and forward-thinking school.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A passion for inspiring students and raising attainment

  • A commitment to the school’s values and community ethos
