Job description

We are currently seeking passionate and qualified Maths Teachers to join a number of secondary schools across Salford, Bolton, and Bury, including a respected Catholic secondary school, ahead of the new academic year in September.

These are full-time positions that offer the opportunity to work in supportive and forward-thinking school environments that value high-quality teaching and learning. You will be joining established Maths departments with a commitment to helping every student achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5, depending on experience)

  • Plan, prepare, and assess to support student progress and attainment

  • Create an engaging, inclusive classroom environment

  • Contribute to department planning and whole-school activities

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in the classroom

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Experience teaching Mathematics in UK secondary schools

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A commitment to inclusion and high achievement for all students

  • Willingness to support the ethos of a Catholic school (for applicable role)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
