Job description
Exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, required in a Bolton primary school, BL3.
Full time role starting in September
A primary school in Bolton are looking for a confident Teaching Assistant to work in their KS2 classes as a general Teaching Assistant. The role is long term position starting in the new school year.
The school, graded “good” by the new OFSTED framework. This two form entry school has a welcoming atmosphere and a supportive staff structure to make you feel at home. The role be general class support but may also include some SEN support from time-to-time.

- Excellent Key Stage 2 provision focusing on developing numeracy and literacy skills.
The successful candidate would need to have a minimum Cache 3 qualification or a graduate with school based experience. They will work well in a team, be enthusiastic about pupil progress and have some level of experience working in Key Stage 2. They will want to learn how to assess pupils’ progress and have high expectations of themselves and the pupils in their care. They will have a good understanding of the national curriculum and be confident in both Maths and English. A nurturing nature and high expectation of behaviour is crucial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
