Level 4 Teaching Assistant
Job description
rteaching Personnel is working with a primary school that are looking for a HLTA to join their team after the October 2025 half term. This full-time role (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3:15pm) involves whole class support, small group interventions, and occasional teaching cover across Years 3–6.

Deliver interventions and provide classroom support

Cover lessons for PPA and short-term teacher absences

Support inclusion of all pupils, including those with SEND

Use positive behaviour strategies to maintain a purposeful learning environment
Who we’re looking for:

Ideally Level 4 HLTA qualified, but experienced TAs with cover experience encouraged to apply

ECTs or qualified teachers seeking a flexible role welcome
The school is a small, community-focused primary with one form entry and a strong ethos around pupil wellbeing and success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
