Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant for a position within one of our "Good" Barnsley schools to start with immediate effect.

The ideal candidate would have prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant and have a clear understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum. The Learning Support Assistant would also have the ability to deliver 1:1 intervention with an enthusiastic and inspiring approach to children's learning. Other responsibilities include assisting the Teacher in the delivery of engaging lessons and supporting small groups within the class.

  • A committed Learning Support Assistant
  • A Learning Support Assistant with experience in 1:1 intervention

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
