Teaching Personnel are recruiting an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant in the Ealing area, our client is a well-known school with an excellent senior leadership team. The position involves supporting a child with a viral infection which has affected their speech and language, the symptoms are similar to that of Autism thus, SEN experience is a must. The role is a long term position, with the possibility of being taken on permanently.

The ideal candidate:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent behaviour management
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Able to create a positive classroom environment
  • Makaton Trained
  • Autism Awareness trained
  • PECS trained (desirable but not necessary)
  • At least 12 months experience supporting children with learning difficulties.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
