Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming SEN school in the Farnborough area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping young people with special educational needs reach their full potential.

Role Overview

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties).

• Support learning in and out of the classroom, following guidance from the class teacher and SENCO.

• Assist with behaviour management, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning.

• Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all pupils.

• Build strong, supportive relationships with students and staff.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young adults (school, youth work, care, etc.) – SEN experience is beneficial but not essential.

• A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach.

• A willingness to learn, take direction, and be part of a supportive team.

• Ability to commit to a long-term role starting ASAP.

• Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a DBS on the update service.
