Make a Difference Through One-to-One Tuition
TP Tutors is looking for compassionate and experienced SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition for children and young people across Portsmouth.
Working with learners who have additional needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties, you'll help them rebuild confidence, develop key skills, and achieve meaningful educational progress in a supportive environment.

The Role
You'll deliver engaging one-to-one sessions in learners' homes, schools, or community settings, adapting each lesson to suit individual learning styles and needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning personalised tuition sessions
- Supporting learners with SEND to reach their goals
- Building confidence, independence and motivation
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
- Working closely with families, schools and other professionals
Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
- Background in tutoring, teaching, mentoring or education
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Ability to travel across Portsmouth
- Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
