Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a KS1 SEN Teaching assistant to support one of our school in the Derby City Centre. The role requires you to work with KS1 Supporting pupils with their learning. Specifically, this role will require you to work with a child with ASC ( Autistic Spectrum Condition).

The position is to be filled as soon as possible with a potential to become longer term in the new academic year. (Sept 2018)

The role will include:

  • Giving 1:1 to a pupil with ASC
  • Providing support with their learning
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and understanding

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
