A highly reputable primary school located in the heart of Cambridge is seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis from September 2024. Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the educational needs of children with a variety of learning difficulties.
*Employ special educational strategies and techniques during instruction to improve the development of sensory- and perceptual-motor skills, language, cognition, and memory.
*Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and specialists to develop support plans that cater to the individual needs of students.
*Monitor and assess the progress of students and adapt lessons accordingly.
*Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure best practices in SEN education.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*A recognized SEN qualification or a strong willingness to undertake further training.
*Experience in teaching or supporting children with special educational needs.
*Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and foster collaborative relationships.
*Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for engaging students and managing diverse classroom dynamics.
*A compassionate approach and a commitment to inclusive education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
