Year 2 Teacher required for a 2 form entry Primary school in south Manchester, M22 area for the start of the next academic year in September.
"good" Roman Catholic school in the central Manchester, Wythenshawe
Good opportunity for NQT's to get their foot in the door in the education world
Teaching Personnel are working alongside a "good" 2 form entry Roman Catholic Primary school in an effort to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Key stage 1 teacher for after the May half term. This 2 form entry Manchester Primary school gained the recent grade of "good" in their latest OFSTED report at the back end of 2017 and has said be on course to reach "outstanding". The report states that "the head teacher has maintained very good levels of attainment and progress throughout all year groups" and is "striving towards outstanding through brilliant interventions and excellent leadership". The school has worked tirelessly from all aspects and has a welcoming feel the minute you step through the doors with highly decorated walls and warm and friendly office staff.
The school has stated that they require a passionate and enthusiastic teacher that has a real desire to teach children and help them progress as much as possible. Experience within year 2 is highly sought after, however, it is not entirely necessary as the school believe someone with the correct training, attitude and will, will be more than capable of leading the class and being an excellent class teacher. The class is a very mixed ability to class so it is key the candidate has the ability to be able to differentiate the lessons very well in order to reach out to every pupils needs.
Due the school being 2 form entry there will be collaborated planning alongside the other year 2 teacher. This will lower work load and make planning more easier as the work load will be shared and also offer the opportunity to gain ideas from another teacher.
